Ellanie M. was admitted to the Order of the Pineapple with Laurie T. on 18 January 1987. This was the last year the award was given by the original Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild.
Background[]
When Zeus and Alien wanted to form the Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild, they had to get a staff or faculty sponsor. The K-14 (Kindergarten through college sophomore) laws required it.
So Zeus asked art teacher Ellanie to become the club's staff sponsor with a promise: she wouldn't have to do anything. She agreed.
But even though she didn't go to many club meetings, her home was their home. Her home was the social center of the club, and most of their parties were held there. While the group was very eccentric, she gave them a safe haven from the normals where they could be themselves.
According to Alien, no group party held at her house ever caused a major problem.
